Nikki Green loves her job as pet-sitter and dog-walker in the beautiful bayside town of Dahlia. She is excited to help fellow dog lover and long-time friend Tom get Happy Dogs Training Academy ready for its grand opening.

But then things start going to the dogs when the builder and his fiancée go missing. But that turns out to be the least of their worries when a dead body is found. When Tom is one of the prime suspects, Nikki and her eccentric friend Sonia Whitter with the help of their lovable pooches decide to find the real culprit before Tom lands up in jail.

Nikki, Sonia and their furry companions dig through a mountain of clues and suspects to find the murderer. But will the amateur sleuths uncover more than they bargained for?
