But when an intern at the local perfume shop is found murdered Suzie and Mary are determined to get to the truth. So, they put on their sleuthing hats to help find her killer. They soon discover there are many secrets brewing beneath the surface in the beachside town and more than a few people had a possible motive.

Suzie and Mary are embracing the quiet of the off-season at Dune House, happily hosting a handful of guests and enjoying time with their boyfriends and lovable Lab Pilot.

But their tranquility is short-lived when a marine biology professor is found murdered. And with the docks closed down for the investigation, they end up with a few last-minute guests. The professor’s groundbreaking discoveries put the future livelihoods of some of the fishermen and other locals in jeopardy. Suzie and Mary soon uncover that he had more than a few enemies, with many wanting him silenced.

As they dig deeper, they head straight toward danger. Will they reveal the truth before there’s another victim?
