It is almost Valentine’s Day and Charlotte and Ally are frantically trying to fill chocolate orders for the special day. Their hot chocolate gift packs are flying out the door and they couldn’t be happier.

But then the local dairy farm owner lands up dead. Charlotte and Ally cannot resist a good mystery and decide to do some snooping of their own. But with the suspects piling up they realize they might have bitten off more than they can chew.

Will Charlotte and Ally be able to find the killer before they land up in hot water?

Tongues are wagging at Charlotte’s Chocolate Heaven when one of the shop’s three best customers has a new romantic interest. Mrs. Cale is smitten, but her two friends, Mrs. Bing and Mrs. White, would prefer to keep their good friend to themselves.

Their focus quickly changes when someone ends up dead. Ally and Charlotte cannot resist a good mystery and decide to do a little investigating. To their surprise they land up with additional help as the three friends decide to solve the case themselves. The amateur sleuths are heading straight towards trouble.

Mrs. Bing is determined to help find out who murdered her friend and asks Ally to join her in her investigative efforts. With a little help from Charlotte, Mrs. Cale and Mrs. White, as well as Ally and Charlotte’s trusty companions, Arnold their pot-bellied pig, and Peaches their feline-friend, they do a little sleuthing. The sleuths reveal a mountain of clues and suspects and land up wrapped up in some risky situations. Has their luck run out or will they get a Christmas miracle?

Will the crooks be caught, and the murderer found in time for Christmas? Will the wrong person land up behind bars for the holiday season? Or worse, will one of the sleuths not be around to celebrate Christmas ever again?

The victim turns out to be a renowned wine critic who is in the area to write a special on a winery for its two-hundred year anniversary. Ally and Charlotte decide to do a little sleuthing.
